Please don't get us wrong! We're not going anywhere! OK - we'll explain -
Midsummer Masala has been growing at a phenomenal rate over the last 6 years, since it began as part of a line-up of festivals of various ethnicities and nationalities back in 2002 - and since then has retained its position as the only festival to go on to feature as an annual event.
Last year's event featuring Raghav brought record numbers to the park - some say in excess of 9,000 (but you know it's even more than that - don't you?). Bringing you the best over the years has been challenging and hectic! And every year we wonder if we've outdone ourselves - but we absolutely love the challenge.
This year we'll admit, the biggest blow has come two-fold - On the one hand it's the economy, and on the other - it's the huge dip in the dollar. So we've decided to take a hiatus!
But wait - that means one thing for sure - when we come back next year - It'll be with a bang - the likes of which you ain't seen before....
We're asking you - our fans - to be patient - and come back to give us your all out support - to ensure that Midsummer Masala of 2009 is more successful than all the previous years!
